During our initial call we’ll discuss your goals, timeline, and budget, and confirm whether your project meets our minimums. Next, we’ll schedule your On-Site Consultation. If a design is needed, you’ll move forward with a paid design agreement (typically $1,000–$3,000) and complete a questionnaire that outlines your wish list and inspiration.

If your project includes a design, you’ll meet with your designer for a 40–60 minute property walkthrough. They’ll listen closely, take measurements, photos, and grades, and gather the details that matter most to you. If your project doesn’t require a design, an expert estimator will visit your property to review the scope and collect the information needed for an accurate proposal.

For design projects, our team develops a complete, buildable plan that accounts for codes, permits, and HOA requirements. You’ll see your goals brought to life in a 2D site plan and 3D movie, along with budget ranges and a clear breakdown of phases if needed. For projects without design, you’ll receive a detailed proposal within 5–9 business days based on the estimator’s site visit, including sketches when appropriate.

Design clients are invited to a presentation where the plan and 3D visuals are reviewed, followed by up to three rounds of revisions to refine details. For non-design projects, we’ll send your proposal by email with a video overview and then follow up to answer questions and make adjustments.

Once the plan is finalized, you’ll receive a transparent, penny-accurate estimate with no hidden costs. Signing the agreement and paying a deposit secures your spot on our schedule.

You’ll meet your dedicated Project Manager, review the timeline, and walk through the scope of work together. This meeting confirms start dates, expectations, and next steps. At this stage, a minimum of 50% of the project total is collected.

Your Project Manager oversees every aspect of the installation, keeping you updated until the project is complete. Crews arrive on time, in uniform, and ready to work with professionalism and efficiency.

When installation is complete, you and your Project Manager will walk the site to confirm everything meets your expectations. You’ll receive a care packet and instructions for your new installtion so you can enjoy your landscape with confidence. The final balance is collected at this stage.

After completion, you’ll receive a CARE call to check in, answer questions, and offer continued maintenance services. By choosing Miller Landscape for ongoing care, you extend your warranties and gain long-term support to keep your investment looking its best.
